Welcome to the North Carroll Boys Lacrosse website!

North Carroll Lacrosse is a Spring Youth lacrosse program sponsored by the North Carroll Recreation Council in cooperation with the Carroll County Department of Recreation. Our program offers an In-house recreational league for both boys ages 4 to 14 (your child must be 14 or younger as of September 1, 2020). Our objective is to provide an opportunity for the children to experience the great game of lacrosse, with enjoyment, competition, sportsmanship, fairness and equality to all players.

All players will compete in approximately ten games in the season. This allows for development along with a little competition. Evaluations are in mid- to late- January, practices begin in mid- March, and the first games will begin late March/early April.

Coppermine Indoor Rules/COVID Protocols
Indoor Session Information:
-These sessions will be Tyker through Junior Age Groups. Pockets will start in April.
-We will be on the main turf field to the right as you enter the building.
-Each session will be full equipment including mouthpieces. We plan to make a majority of these sessions skill work with low contact. Our goal is to educate the children with the game of lacrosse and work on their skills, but will implement some small sided games. We understand there will be kids at different skill levels so will make this work for everyone.
-No cleats, wear indoor or tennis/running shoes.
-We will size the kids for uniforms at each of our sessions. Please attend as many as you can so we can get their sizes. If not, we will revert to what you selected when you signed up.I know some have prior commitments this week so we will do our best to get them sized.

Coppermine Four Seasons protocols:
  • Every player and coach must bring in the attached form filled out to drop off at the front desk as they enter. This is for contract tracing only. Temps can be taken at the front desk as they enter or done at home. Please print and bring with you. We will have limited copies on Saturday.
  • No spectators. You will have to drop your son off and wait in the parking lot. You can walk them in to ensure they get to where they need to be. We will have someone greeting all kids to make sure they are fine.
  • Everyone needs to have a mask on as they enter the building and go to the field. The coaches will monitor but we expect the kids to be engaged the whole time so they can take them off while on the field.
  • No sharing water bottles.
  • Practices/games can be streamed privately (password protected) through our website. The password is 4Coppermine. Goto the Coppermine web site, select Sports, then Streaming.
